Lead Counsel --Don Moorhead

Don Moorhead was admitted to practice in the State of South Carolina on November 5, 1976 and in the State of Georgia on June 10, 1976. He is admitted to the U.S. District Court, District of South Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit, and all of the state courts for the states of South Carolina and Georgia.

Don Moorhead has been the lead counsel in hundreds of civil trials and workers' compensation hearings and has had an active appellate practice for over 21 years. He is a past president of the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, Board of Governors of the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, sustaining member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and founding Trustee of the American Jury Trial Foundation. He is also a fellow of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association and a member of the American Bar Association.

He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Business in 1973 and graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law with a JD degree in 1976. He took additional civil trial training in advanced trial advocacy, medical malpractice, and products liability with the National College of Advocacy, and annually updates his legal education through continuing legal education seminars approved by the South Carolina Bar Association.
