Matthew Carbone Named 2026 Florida Rising Star

Jul 1, 2026 - by Moorhead Law Group

Moorhead Law Group is pleased to announce that Matthew Carbone has been named to the 2026 Florida Rising Star List. This list is an exclusive directory honoring the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state. To qualify, lawyers must be 40 years old or younger, or have been in practice for 10 years or less. Fewer than 2.5% to 3% of eligible attorneys are selected each year. Carbone is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Pensacola office. He specializes in community association litigation and general servicing, along with representing businesses and individuals through all phases of litigation—from early dispute resolution through trial and appeals. He is known for providing clear, strategic counsel and for maintaining a practical, results-oriented approach tailored to each client’s objectives.

In explaining what this award means to him, Carbone says, “To be recognized as a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star at this stage in my career is both humbling and motivating. This recognition reflects the mentorship and support I have received from colleagues, peers, and the local legal community. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve clients throughout Northwest Florida and look forward to continuing to grow as an advocate in this community.”

Prior to joining Moorhead Law Group, he developed a strong litigation foundation at a respected law firm, where he handled a broad range of complex matters, including business disputes, real estate and construction litigation, and employment cases. This experience enables him to approach each case thoughtfully while remaining focused on efficient and effective outcomes.

Before pursuing his legal career, Carbone played collegiate football at the University of West Florida—an experience that helped shape the discipline, teamwork, and work ethic he brings to his legal practice. Matthew is a triplet and, outside the office, enjoys golfing, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife, Sylvia, his family, and his dog, Jax.
