Job Description:

  • Efficiently answer a multi-line telephone and greet clients and visitors in a friendly, energetic, and professional manner;
  • Occasional scheduling of meetings, conference calls, and deadlines;
  • Perform clerical duties which may include typing, record keeping, filing, scanning, and photocopying;
  • Assist in fielding inquiries for legal services via phone and email;
  • Maintain physical and electronic files in a highly organized manner;
  • Provide support to partners, attorneys, and paralegals as requested;
  • Drafting and revising letters and documents as needed;
  • Monitor multiple calendars, and tasks, and prioritize effectively;
  • Perform related work as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience in a legal setting preferred;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to perform a variety of computer-based tasks including, but not limited to, opening client files, creating legal pleadings files, maintaining calendars, and tracking deadlines;
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook (Word and Excel), Adobe Pro case management software;
  • Ability to manage time independently, multitask effectively, prioritize, and meet deadlines;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Excellent data entry skills;
  • Enthusiasm and positive attitude; and
  • Excited about the ability to work as a team.
