Steve Moorhead is the founding partner of Moorhead Law Group, bringing over 35 years of experience as a distinguished real estate attorney to the Pensacola community. His areas of expertise encompass real estate litigation, real estate development, and complex commercial real estate transactions. Steve is recognized for his exceptional legal acumen, holding Board Certification in Real Estate Law from the Florida Bar’s Committee on Education and Legal Specialization, and has achieved an AV-Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, Inc. He has also been consistently honored in Super Lawyers magazine since 2008, recognized in Florida Trend’s “Legal Elite” in 2020, and identified as one of Pensacola’s top 25 most influential leaders by the Independent News.
In addition to his practice, Steve serves as General Counsel for the Home Builders Association of West Florida and is an active board member for many community organizations, including the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce, where he previously held the position of Chair of the Board of Directors from 2017 to 2019.
A sixth-generation Floridian and long-time resident of Pensacola, Steve graduated from Woodham High School before earning his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Auburn University and his Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.
Steve is married to his wife, Rhonda, and is a proud father of four boys and grandfather to three grandchildren. An avid fisherman and enthusiastic supporter of Auburn athletics, he especially enjoys Auburn football and basketball.
