Partial Moratorium On Foreclosures and Evictions Extended

Sep 1, 2020 - Blog by

Governor DeSantis has extended the partial moratorium on certain mortgage foreclosures and residential evictions through 12:01 a.m. on October 1, 2020, with the signing of Executive Order 20-211.  The partial moratorium is intended to apply only to persons affected by the COVID-19 emergency and prohibits only final action in certain residential foreclosure and eviction actions.  Foreclosure and eviction actions can be initiated during the period covered by the partial moratorium.
