Moorhead Law Group is pleased to announce that Matthew Carbone has joined the firm as an Associate Attorney. Matthew’s practice focuses on community association law, general business litigation, commercial litigation, real estate law, construction law, and employment law. He is known for providing clear, strategic counsel and for maintaining a practical, results-oriented approach tailored to each client’s objectives.
Prior to joining Moorhead Law Group, Matthew developed a strong litigation foundation at a respected law firm, where he handled a broad range of complex matters, including business disputes, real estate and construction litigation, and employment cases. This experience enables him to approach each case thoughtfully while remaining focused on efficient and effective outcomes.

A native of Orlando, Florida, Matthew earned his Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies, with a minor in Sports Management, from the University of West Florida, and his Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law. During law school, he served as treasurer and director of policy on the Student Body Board and was an editor and liaison for The Legal Eye, the school’s publication. In his third year, he gained hands-on experience representing residents of Madison County, Mississippi, under a limited practice license.
Before pursuing his legal career, Matthew played collegiate football at the University of West Florida—an experience that helped shape the discipline, teamwork, and work ethic he brings to his legal practice.
Matthew is a triplet and, outside the office, enjoys golfing, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife, Sylvia, his family, and his dog, Jax.
